Welcome to Psychotherapy Services Devon

Covid 19 update: The practice is running as normal – via remote access.

Welcome to Psychotherapy Services Devon. My name is Sandra Jay and I am a psychotherapist who primarily works from my base which is on the outskirts of Bovey Tracey in Devon. Over the years I have provided a wide range of therapy, personal development and training services. I have very close working relationships with many other mental health professionals if specialist referral or recommendation is appropriate.

The service I provide includes assessment of psychological need, short to medium psychotherapy for individuals and couples and provides psychotherapy weekends in Devon.

I am unfortunately no longer able to offer a service to people with more complex longer term needs.

I have worked throughout England offering various training and feel privileged to have had the opportunity to develop and train staff in West Africa who work with children who have been neglected and traumatised by trafficking and abuse.

I feel honoured to be able to do the work I do. To meet with people who trust me and let me in to their distress is very humbling. I believe that true change comes from working together. The client /group brings their experiences and I bring mine and together find a way of moving forward.

My training: I am a Registered Psychotherapist with the United Kingdom Council of Psychotherapy (U.K.C.P) and a Clinical Supervisor. I have worked for many years in a therapeutic, supervisory and training capacity with individuals, couples and groups as well as working for many years in the N.H.S. as a Psychological Therapist. I hold a Post Graduate training qualification in Process Supervision and has also had training in Group Analysis, Family Therapy & Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (C.B.T).

Other general information:

I also have a non interactive Facebook work page for information on my ideas/work and a YouTube channel with a number of short videos.
